Status of Residence (Student)

To stay in Japan under the “Student” status of residence (commonly referred to as a student visa), it is necessary to comply with permitted activities, relevant laws and regulations, and to complete procedures for renewing or changing the status when needed.
To ensure that international students can live in Japan with peace of mind and focus on their studies, qualified school staff will handle the renewal of students’ residence status on their behalf through the Application Agent System.
A detailed explanation will be provided during the orientation after enrollment, and the application will be prepared and submitted to the Tokyo Immigration Bureau starting three months before the expiration of the current status.

Please note that if it is determined that continued study is difficult due to poor academic performance, low attendance, or activities beyond the scope of the visa (such as unauthorized part-time work), the school may choose not to submit a renewal application.
Therefore, students are expected to always follow the guidance of their teachers and student affairs staff.

Academic Advancement Support

At our school, we have established a flexible and attentive academic guidance system to support students who initially aimed for employment but later decide to change their path and pursue higher education at a vocational school or university in Japan.

For students wishing to continue their studies, we provide personalized support through one-on-one counseling to carefully assess their goals and aptitudes. Our faculty and staff assist with every step—from selecting the right school and preparing application documents, to writing personal essays and practicing for interviews—offering detailed and individualized guidance.

We believe that “relearning” is an important step toward expanding one’s future possibilities. Respecting each student’s aspirations, we place great emphasis on academic guidance to help them choose the best path forward.

For those who still aim to enter the workforce, learning about the curricula of Japanese vocational schools and universities can also be a valuable experience. Understanding what Japanese colleagues, seniors, or juniors have studied or experienced in such institutions helps students build empathy, compare perspectives, and develop smoother communication skills—essential for living and working in Japanese society.

※ Students also participate in academic information sessions held at nearby venues or hosted on campus, where prospective schools are invited to give presentations.
