REGULAR CLASS

This curriculum is focused on verbal communication. From the first class, students will be evaluated on their Japanese conversation ability and be given opportunities to improve their speaking level in a group setting.
The final stage of this course prepares you to take the JLPT Test and puts your conversation skills to use in our Business Immersion Program.

Beginner Level

We think a great deal of the beginner vocabulary. You will learn from the stroke order to the pronunciation and the meanings of Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji.
Also, textbooks are not enough to strengthen all four language skills, so we adopt other kinds of teaching materials to establish the skills. ‘Mainichi no Kikitori for beginner’ is used for listening practice and ‘Shokyu de yomeru topic25 Ⅰ,Ⅱ’ for reading practice. You will be given writing assignments inside and outside the classroom.

Intermidiate Level

Textbooks for intermediate levels are quite different from beginner ones. You need to pick out words and grammars you don’t know other than new vocabulary and grammar written in the textbooks and memorize them to build up your Japanese. In the intermediate classes, first we tell students how to study and help studying in effective way. It is important to study with many kinds of materials to improve all four skills in this level, too.
You will practice making speech, expressing opinions in your own words, reading again and again until you memorize the whole sentences, summarizing long sentences and so on.

Higher intermidiate Level

In intermediate level, many students fall into a slump, so we try various approaches of lesson planning to keep students motivated. You can choose classes to overcome your weakness or polish up your Japanese. JLPT lessons are divided into several classes to prepare for each level.
All foreign students must be in trouble with the difference of Japanese language between the textbooks and real life. In the higher-intermediate level, you will also learn from songs and TV dramas to hear ‘practical Japanese’.

Advanced Level

In advanced classes, you will read newspapers and novels as well as studying textbooks and solving questions for examinations such as JLPT and EJU. To practice reading, you will read the sentences in two ways, reading speedily or reading thoroughly. For speaking skill, you will be given topics to debate. Also, there will be lessons to brush up your business manner and politeness in Japanese.
